Tropical green tea unlike any other. Well-balanced, nuanced, with a flavorful green tea base and true organic flavor extracts.

We use a high grade, tasty organic steamed sencha green tea and fold in unadulterated organic pineapple and papaya pieces, rose petals, marigold and safflowers, for a colorful and incredibly delightful tea. This is fantastic as a chilled tea, as well. We made this to be an unabashedly indulgent tea, so dive in. Can be resteeped with great results.

Enjoyable way to drink green tea. I generally don't like the taste of green teas unless they have an added flavor. I liked the tropical flavors in this one added by the dried fruit and flowers. It's a stronger taste than some of the other "fruit added" Zhi Teas (and I like this) but the flavor did not overwhelm the tea. Very nice.

Papaya time. =) I am not really a fan of green tea, but I gave this one a try because of its ratings and papaya bits. Oh wow, now one of my daily cups (after my morning black tea). I love that this tea can be resteeped trhought the day. It has helped me to drink more water. I love, love, love the taste of the papaya bits.

I tend to distance myself from green teas in the tea spectrum. Recently I was informed the plentiful health benefits of green tea. I bought a diverse assortment of pure and flavored green teas from Zhi and discovered an exquisite blend of flavors in the tropical green tea.

I am normally NOT a green tea fan, but this tea is really tasty. It is light and I like it iced (because it is summer now) but I'm sure it will be great in a cup in colder seasons.

the aroma of this tea in the tin is to die for!equal parts green tea, pineapple, and papaya.yum!i was worried the steeped tea would lose some of the aroma like some fruity teas do but not so!it tasted just as it smelled and was equally good on ice.yay!!

This is the perfect tea. If you think green tea isn't for you, you are probably wrong, as you probably haven't tried this blend. The nice, mellow, and fruity taste goes a long way, and the finish is clean and wet. I would give this one ten stars(tea leaves) if I could. Thanks, Zhi

I'm big on iced tea. I steeped this tea and mixed it with steeped plain green tea. It made a very nice light and flavorful iced tea. I tried it on its own as hot tea and was very happy with it that way as well.

Nice, light summery tea, peachy- tasting and more subtle in the second steeping. I really need to get an acrylic teapot to show this one off.

I must admit, I used to love the Mighty Leaf trop green, but this takes the prize alround....rich taste, though subtle too, beautiful to look at, can't oversteep even if I try to. I'm a convert.

You heard it here first: This tea is gonna take over the galaxy.

Water: 175-185°F | Leaves: 2 teaspoons per 10 ounce cup | Infusion Time: 3 minutes

Basic Steeping Tips
- Use filtered or spring water, whenever possible
- Don’t over-boil water
- Remove leaves after recommended time (adjust to taste)
-If you want stronger tea, use more leaves instead of steeping for a longer time Leaves can be re-steeped 2-3 times resulting in various flavor differences.
Don’t throw out those leaves until they have given it all up!

Health Benefits Green tea has been researched a great deal over the last 20 years. Results indicate that the catechins in green tea are responsible for a lowered risk of heart disease, lowered risk of cancer (especially prostate and breast), and potential reduction in onset of Alzeheimers.
The history of tea in China is long and complex. The Chinese have enjoyed tea for millennia. Scholars hailed the brew as a cure for a variety of ailments; the nobility considered the consumption of good tea as a mark of their status, and the common people simply enjoyed its flavor.

Tea was first discovered by the Chinese Emperor Shennong in 2737 BC. It is said that the emperor liked his drinking water boiled before he drank it so it would be clean, so that is what his servants did. One day, on a trip to a distant region, he and his army stopped to rest. A servant began boiling water for him to drink, and a dead leaf from the wild tea bush fell into the water. It turned a brownish color, but it was unnoticed and presented to the emperor anyway.

The emperor drank it and found it very refreshing, and cha (tea) was born.
